Kitty Kollar Attends Two Veterinary Conferences
Kitty Kollar attended two important veterinary conferences in 2018.
From September 22 -27, 2018 we were in Atlanta at the Exoticon Conference. This conference hosts veterinarians who work with small animals such as ferrets, rabbits, and guinea pigs, reptiles, and avian species.
We were able to visit The Georgia Aquarium and speak with the head veterinarian there about their use of a Kitty Kollar for a geriatric penguin who needed supplemlental nutrition and medications.
We have also placed kollars on geese, a raptor, and a parrot and look forward to helping the owners of all these species when e-tubes are called for.
From September 28-30, 2018 we had our first Kitty Kollar Booth at the American Association of Feline Practitioners conference in Charlotte, NC. It was very exciting to share information with over 1125 feline veterinarians from around the world and to garner information to help us improve our product.
It was also gratifying to discover that several of the speakers recommended the use of Kitty Kollar in their lectures regarding feeding tubes and emergency medicine, helping to teach the next generation of veterinarians the importance of recognizing the need for enteral feeding early in the emergency process.
